    Routes:

    • Depart 7:45am (eta return 3:45pm) - Be ready by 7:30am at Governor’s Walk Parking Lot, intersection of Union St / DE 5 and Magnolia St, Milton, DE; 37 miles to Dover, 74 miles round trip. Target average moving speed is 15 mph, +/-1 mph (route: 24Leg.Milt_37.3_Dov):

    • Depart 9:00am (eta return 2:45pm) - Be ready by 8:40am at Tractor Supply Company, 609B N Dupont Blvd (meet in parking lot fronting DE 14 - Miford-Harrington Hwy), Milford, DE; 24 miles to Dover, 48 miles round trip. Target average moving speed is 14 mph, +/-1 mph (route: 24Leg.Milt_37.3_Dov):

    • Depart 11:00am (eta return 1:15pm) - Be ready by 10:45am at Mike and Mel’s Family Restaurant, 108 N Railroad Ave Wyoming, DE 19934; 4 miles to Dover, 8 miles round trip. Riders will join those leaving from Milton/Milford. 

    All rides end at Legislative Mall in Dover at 11:45am and depart back to start locations around 12:45pm (return route:24Leg.Dov_36.2_Milt):        https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45573848 

    Details:

    • Participants will receive a free Bike Month T-shirt. Water and snacks; indoor bathrooms are available in Legislative Hall. Pictures will be taken, so please wear your Sussex Cyclists jersey if you have one.
    • Return transportation for a limited number of riders and their bicycles will be available without charge. A spot may be reserved at time of registration and if oversubscribed, priority will be based upon earliest requests. Riders will have to sign a waiver for themselves and bicycles and equipment being transported.
    • Ride is primarily self-supported with limited SAG provisions.
    • Target average moving speeds may be adjusted based upon wind conditions and options for other ride speeds to be announced. RWGPS generated pdf cue sheets available for registered riders upon request made to a Group Leader prior to the ride date.
